Athena Bitcoin Reports First Quarter 2024 Financial Results

Athena Bitcoin Global, a leading operator of bitcoin ATMs and a provider of fintech solutions, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024. The report, filed with OTC Markets, shows a significant increase in financial performance compared to the previous year.

The company's revenue for the first quarter rose by 247% to $81.4 million, up from $23.4 million during the same period in 2023. Gross profit saw a substantial increase, rising 526% to $11.9 million from $1.9 million in the first quarter of the previous year. Operating expenses also increased to $3.1 million from $1.3 million in 2023. Notably, net income surged to $5.9 million, a significant rise from the $71,000 reported in the first quarter of 2023.
