Athena Gold Shareholders Approve Amalgamation and New Management
Athena Gold Corporation announced that the majority of shareholders, representing 78.75% of its common shares, approved key resolutions at the annual meeting held on March 27, 2025. Shareholders backed the company's redomestication from Delaware to British Columbia, involving a merger with its subsidiary, Nova Athena Gold Corp. Directors, such as David Goodman and Koby Kushner, were elected, while Davidson & Company LLP was appointed as auditors.
Post-meeting, David Goodman was named Chairman, and Koby Kushner took on roles as President and CEO. Ty Minnick and John C. Power were appointed CFO and Corporate Secretary, respectively. The move to British Columbia aims to cut regulatory costs and ease access to capital markets. Completion of the redomestication is expected by April 2025, offering Athena's shareholders one new share per existing one, preserving the trading symbol "ATHA".
