Aton Resources Announces Key Corporate and Operations Updates
Aton Resources Inc. has announced the resignation of Robert Parr as Chief Operating Officer for personal reasons. He also left the Board of Directors of Abu Marawat Gold Mines Ltd, a joint venture with the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority. Paul Angus, Aton’s Exploration Manager, will join the Board while the search for Parr's replacement is underway.
The company is progressing in Egypt, appointing Wardell Armstrong for a Pre-Feasibility Study on the Hamama West deposit. Cube Consulting continues to estimate resources at the Abu Marawat Concession. Ongoing diamond drilling at Abu Marawat shows promising results, with plans for new resource categories and future mine developments.
Aton has finalized a contract with Capital Drilling Egypt for RC drilling, with a focus on exploring high-priority targets. Groundwater exploration in the Hamama area is set to start shortly. The concurrent drilling programs are scheduled through the first half of 2025.
