Atos Successfully Closes Syndication of Interim Financing Program
Paris, France – July 5, 2024 – Atos SE announced the successful closure of its short-term interim financing program. The company secured additional tranches of €225 million and €350 million, along with a waiver from banks under its €1.5 billion term loan. These funds are part of an ongoing amendment to facilities provided by bondholders, expected to be signed soon.
Additionally, the syndication process for the backstop of new financings by bondholders was completed on July 3, 2024, as planned. The backstop of new secured financings to be provided by banks has been extended to July 11, 2024, to accommodate potential modifications related to bank guarantees.
Atos aims to finalize a definitive financial restructuring agreement by July 2024. The company expects to sign a lock-up agreement with financial creditors in the week starting July 8, with the restructuring plan to be implemented through an accelerated procedure beginning the week of July 22. Completion is targeted for late 2024 or early 2025.
