Augros Cosmetic Packaging: 2023 Results and Outlook

Augros Cosmetic Packaging's turnover for 2023 amounts to 20.8 million euros, marking an increase of 2% compared to 2022. However, the company records a net loss of 769,000 euros, compared to a profit of 619,000 euros the previous year.

Operating profit reached 62,000 euros, down from 798,000 euros in 2022, the latter including a subsidy of 480,000 euros. The drop in activity in the second half contributed to this decrease. The financial result shows a loss of 208,000 euros, mainly due to the increase in interest rates.

On an exceptional level, a provision for a dispute with ENGIE has a negative impact on results. The cash flow falls to 327,000 euros compared to 1.6 million euros in 2022.

For 2024, Augros anticipates a gradual recovery thanks to the new UV6 lacquering line, despite the start of the year marked by an intensification of destocking.
