Aumann AG Reports Solid Profitability Despite Revenue Decline in Q1 2025
Aumann AG, a leader in automation solutions and robotics, showed solid profitability for the first quarter of 2025, operating under a challenging economic climate. Revenue fell by 6.2% to €60.5 million, compared to the prior year. However, the EBITDA margin increased to 10.9%, surpassing last year's 10.5% and exceeding 2025's full-year guidance of 8 to 10%. Despite a dip in EBITDA to €6.6 million, the company maintained strong operational performance.
The first quarter's order intake dropped 32.4% year-on-year to €51.3 million but was higher than the previous two quarters. Notably, a significant order in the E-mobility sector and a 21.1% rise in the Next Automation segment marked positive trends. Aumann's order backlog concluded at €173.4 million, remaining profitable.
Aumann anticipates 2025 revenue between €210 million and €230 million, with an EBITDA margin of 8 to 10%. Growth in electric vehicle sales and new EU climate regulations support E-mobility expansion. The company continues to develop its Next Automation segment.
