Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation (AJCF) Announces 2024 Gala Honorees
The Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation (AJCF) has announced the honorees for its 2024 Gala, to be held on June 4th in New York. The annual event continues AJCF’s mission to combat antisemitism and hatred through educational programs and support for victims of atrocities and genocide.
This year’s honorees include Joe Scarborough from MSNBC, Alex Spiro, Esq., and The Honorable John P. "Sean" Coffey of the US Navy. Leonard Fournette of the NFL and the IL-USDocAid initiative, recognized for their humanitarian efforts, are also among the honorees. These individuals will participate in AJCF's mission to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Auschwitz-Birkenau liberation in January 2025.
The Gala will also feature Holocaust survivors and highlight the American Service Academies Program (ASAP). This program mentors top U.S. military cadets and midshipmen with a focus on ethical responsibility, including an immersive history course at AJCF's center in Poland.
