AUTODOC Optimises Capital Structure with €530 Million Loan

AUTODOC, a leading European online auto parts retailer, announced its successful debut in the institutional debt market with a €530 million Term Loan B. This marks the company's first foray into institutional debt issuance. The loan, placed at EURIBOR +3.50%, demonstrates strong investor demand. The transaction represents a significant milestone in AUTODOC's growth plans, enhancing its financial flexibility and shareholder returns without equity dilution.

The loan will aid in repurchasing shares associated with Apollo-managed funds and cover transaction expenses. AUTODOC's CFO, Lennart Schmidt, noted the deal strengthens their position for a potential IPO. The company also established Autodoc Holding SE as the new parent company, fully owned by AutoTech GmbH & Co. KG, consolidating its corporate structure.
