Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Landis+Gyr have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on advancing grid edge intelligence. This partnership aims to accelerate the energy transition by integrating Mitsubishi's expertise with Landis+Gyr's Application Ecosystem. This scalable platform enables developers to create apps focused on analytics, optimization, and consumer engagement within a secure framework.

Mitsubishi Electric will develop edge applications using this ecosystem, enhancing grid stability and reliability. Initially focusing on North America, this collaboration will facilitate the expansion of distributed energy resources (DERs) and engage consumers in optimizing energy consumption.
