Avolta Secures 6-Year Duty-Paid Contract at Maceió Airport in Brazil

Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) has officially secured a six-year contract to operate a 170m² duty-paid store at Brazil's Maceió-Zumbi dos Palmares International Airport. This marks a significant expansion for Avolta in Brazil, enhancing its presence in a key airport location which welcomes over 2.5 million passengers annually, as of 2023. The store, which opened at the end of January, is strategically placed in the Departures area, providing a broad selection of products across various categories to travelers.

Enrique Urioste, Avolta’s President & CEO for LATAM, expressed gratitude for the contract and the trust placed in Avolta by Aena and the airport team. Urioste emphasized Avolta's commitment to revolutionizing the travel experience for passengers through a deep understanding and expertise in the region.
