Bahrain Gears Up for the 2nd Edition of Fintech Forward in October

Bahrain is preparing for its second edition of Fintech Forward, scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd, 2024, at Exhibition World Bahrain. This event will be programmed by Economist Impact and hosted by Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) with support from the Central Bank of Bahrain and Bahrain FinTech Bay.

The event will feature panel discussions uniting global fintech experts, financial institutions, governments, and regulators. Topics will include generative AI, blockchain technologies, cybercrime, open banking, evolving consumer behavior, the impacts of new regulations, and sustainable financial initiatives.

The Central Bank of Bahrain has enhanced the competitiveness of the nation's financial sector with new frameworks and legislation, pioneering platforms like the Regulatory Sandbox. Bahrain EDB has attracted investments and fostered a business-friendly environment through progressive legislation.

After last year's successful inaugural event, Fintech Forward has become a key platform for innovative leaders to share experiences and network. This year's event aims to further showcase Bahrain's progress in digital transformation and its role in the fintech sector.
