Banyan Gold Advances 2025 Drill Program at AurMac Project
Banyan Gold Corp. has progressed with its 2025 exploration initiative at the AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. As of April 30, the company completed 19 diamond drillholes, covering 4,500 meters of its fully funded 30,000-meter program, which began on April 1. The drill program aims to follow up on high-grade results and explore extensions of the mineralized envelope at both Airstrip and Powerline sites.
Notably, visible gold has been observed in the high-grade skarn mineralization at Airstrip, a first for the project. Drillholes like AX-25-650 aim to test the continuity of mineralization linked to felsic dyke and calcareous metasediment contact. This supports Banyan’s understanding of near-surface, high-grade gold potential in the region.
The AurMac Project holds a significant inferred Mineral Resource Estimate, totaling 7 million ounces of gold. Visible gold findings and advancing drill techniques highlight the project’s exploration efficiency and potential.
