Banyan Gold Corp. Announces High-Grade Intersections at AurMac Project
Banyan Gold Corp. has reported significant results from a series of sixteen diamond drill holes at the Airstrip Deposit within its AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. Notable assays include 15.9 meters at 9.32 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, which encompasses a rich segment of 3.7 meters at 33.43 g/t gold. These high-grade intersections highlight the potential of AurMac Project's gold deposits.
The drilling program aims to define the eastern portion of the Airstrip Deposit. Other significant results are 4.5 meters of 4.49 g/t gold and 43.1 meters at 0.71 g/t gold. The mineralization is primarily associated with skarn-altered schists and low-angle veins within the Sourdough Hill Member, typical of the Tombstone Gold Belt.
These results reinforce the project's potential and support Banyan's plans for a Preliminary Economic Assessment in 2025, underlining the strategic importance of the 2024 drilling campaign.
