Banyan Gold Corp. has announced the start of its 2024 exploration program at the AurMac Project in Yukon and the addition of Henry Marsden as a Technical Advisor. The drilling aims to demonstrate the project's economic potential and grow the resource's grade and scale. This initiative is aligned with Banyan's internal scoping and expert advice from mining specialists including Marsden.
The current drilling targets the Powerline Deposit within the planned 5,000-meter drill program. Concurrently, Banyan continues to advance metallurgical, engineering, and environmental baseline studies, alongside community engagement efforts in the Mayo region.
Henry Marsden brings over 40 years of experience in exploration and mine advancement. His previous role was Senior Vice President of Exploration at Yamana Gold.
The Board of Directors has also granted stock options totaling 1,250,000 shares to officers, consultants, and exploration staff, at an exercise price of $0.31 per share over a five-year term.
