Banyan Gold Advances Deep Exploration at AurMac Project
Banyan Gold Corp. has reported promising developments at its AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. Recent drilling at the Airstrip Deposit uncovered high-grade gold mineralization at a vertical depth of approximately 350 meters. The key highlight from the deep hole AX-25-817 includes an intersection of 1.37 g/t gold over 38 meters, with a high-grade segment of 15.87 g/t gold over 2.2 meters.
Tara Christie, President and CEO, emphasized the potential of this discovery, pointing to potential deep-seated magmatic sources for the mineralization. Duncan Mackay, VP Exploration, added that the findings show promise for extending the conceptual pit and enhancing exploration targets at depth.
The drilling campaign also included significant hits in other holes, such as AX-25-799 and AX-25-807, underlining the potential for further resource expansion. Banyan's exploration efforts at AurMac could lead to significant developments in the region's gold mining industry.
