Banyan Gold Confirms High-Grade Silver at AurMac
Vancouver-based Banyan Gold Corp. has announced encouraging results from its drilling program at the AurMac project in Yukon, Canada. The program confirmed high-grade silver mineralization first discovered in 2021 in the Powerline Deposit. Highlights include a striking 1841.14 g/t silver over 16.8 meters in drillhole AX-21-142, reviving optimism about significant silver zones.
Banyan's President, Tara Christie, emphasized the project's growth potential, particularly for silver, and its link to existing gold deposits. Vice President of Exploration, Duncan Mackay, noted the efforts to refine silver targets using oriented core data, with pending assays expected to provide further insights.
Silver discoveries associated with Fe-carbonate veins and discrete from gold domains suggest promising prospects for selective mining in the prolific Tombstone Belt. These results enhance the dynamic potential of the AurMac project.
