Banyan Gold Corp. Unveils Promising Drilling Results at Powerline Deposit
Banyan Gold Corp. has announced notable results from thirteen diamond drill holes within the Powerline Deposit at the AurMac Project, Yukon. These results are part of the ongoing 2024 drilling initiative, focusing on expanding the gold mineralization understanding in the area.
Key highlights include a promising assay of 39.7 meters grading 1.92 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold from drill hole AX-24-595 and several other significant intersections, such as 66.4 meters at 0.69 g/t in drill hole AX-24-628. The data supports the presence of high-grade gold zones and confirm mineralization between the Airstrip and Powerline deposits.
The defined gold zones suggest potential for a sizable pit encompassing both deposits, with possibilities for further expansion. The mineralized system is associated with intrusion-related gold typical of the regional setting.
