Banyan Gold Updates Hyland Project Mineral Resource Estimate
Banyan Gold Corp. has announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Hyland Project in Yukon, Canada. The estimate, compliant with NI 43-101 standards, includes an Indicated Mineral Resource of 337,000 ounces of gold and 2.63 million ounces of silver. Inferred resources are 118,000 ounces of gold and 0.86 million ounces of silver. The mineralization remains open for expansion.
The project features an accessible deposit via float plane and winter road. Banyan plans to refine their geologic model and further explore the promising Cuz and Montrose zones. Current work highlights the project's robust potential for open-pit mining, although no reserves have been established.
The estimation utilized data from 1987 to 2018, including trenching, diamond, and RC drilling. Results are constrained by a continuous 3D model, providing a realistic prospect for economic extraction, yet still require further work for reserve definition.
