High-Grade Gold Mineralization Extended at Banyan Gold's AurMac Project
Banyan Gold Corp. has reported significant intersections of high-grade gold mineralization at its Airstrip deposit, part of the AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. Notable results include drill hole AX-25-708, which reported 3.66 g/t Au over 17.6 meters, with an exceptional interval of 35.98 g/t Au over 1.6 meters. Other highlighted drill holes include AX-25-640 with 1.25 g/t Au over 5.4 meters and AX-25-703 showing 2.04 g/t Au over 11.4 meters.
President and CEO Tara Christie expressed confidence in the near-surface, high-grade mineralized domains, while VP of Exploration Duncan Mackay highlighted the continuity of high-grade mineralization, which extends over 500 meters along strike and 300 meters down dip. The company's focus remains on expanding the Airstrip deposit and enhancing the current Mineral Resource Estimate.
