Barton Gold Holdings Initiates Feasibility Study for Gold Production

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has commenced a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for its 'Stage 1' gold production at the Central Gawler Mill, South Australia. The study, targeted for completion in March 2026, aims for commissioning by the end of that year. The plan involves utilizing the existing Challenger mines, boasting a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate of 313koz Au. This includes 194koz Au in high-grade ore, with a focus on reprocessing historical tailings as an initial phase.

The project involves several partners, including SRK Consulting and Tetra Tech Coffey, for technical assessments. The goal is to pave a low-risk path to operations, enhancing Barton's transition to a 'producer' profile amid high gold prices. Anticipated cash flows are expected to fund further regional projects, such as the Tunkillia Gold Project. Ongoing credit finance discussions are part of the strategy to sustain the development phases.
