New High-Grade Zone Discovered at Barton's Tunkillia Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced promising results from 'Phase 2' drilling at the Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia. The recent assays reveal new high-grade mineralisation within the shallow sections of the 'Starter Pits'. Notable results include 21m at 3.62 g/t Au from a depth of 57m and 2m at 36.9 g/t Au from 71m. These findings suggest a potential boost to the project's grade profile and anticipated economic returns.

The company is progressing towards an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for gold and silver, expected once all final assays are received. Barton's pre-feasibility study (PFS) remains on track for early 2027. The advancement follows government approval of the project's environmental Scoping Report, a step towards the Mining Lease application. Managing Director Alexander Scanlon expressed optimism about the discoveries and forthcoming updates.
