Barton Gold Updates Mineral Resources for Tarcoola Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD) has announced an updated JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Tarcoola Gold Project in South Australia. Recent drilling of 1,688 meters has resulted in an MRE of approximately 19.9 thousand ounces (koz) of gold located within 60 to 80 meters of the Perseverance Mine open pit floor.

This update brings the total MRE for Tarcoola to 29.5 koz of gold (0.54 Mt @ 1.70 g/t Au), with 45% classified as 'Indicated.' The estimate includes 9.6 koz of gold in existing stockpiles. These resources are augmented by potential extensions at depth and along the strike, suggesting further growth opportunities for Barton.

Managing Director Alex Scanlon stated, "This update forms a strong foundation for the second phase of our regional strategy. Tarcoola now holds ~530,000 tonnes of JORC resources, with promising extension prospects on our current mining lease."

Barton continues to explore the Tarcoola Goldfield for higher-grade mineralisation. With its fully permitted mill, the company aims to incrementally increase these resources while testing regional targets for new mineralisation.
