Bassac launches a share buyback-cancellation program
On November 28, 2025, Bassac announced the acquisition of 3.76% of its share capital from its subsidiary Les Nouveaux Constructeurs (LNC). This buyback, aimed at cancelling the shares, is part of a share buyback program authorized by shareholders on May 16, 2025. Bassac has thus agreed to pay €36.7 million, or €58.55 per share, which represents a significant premium over the recent market price.
The multi-phase transaction includes an initial contribution of Bassac shares to LNC by Ronan Arzel, a director of LNC. This transaction required an external valuation to ensure fair pricing. The share cancellation is scheduled for December 31, 2025, and aims to optimize Bassac's financial structure. The planned program will continue until November 16, 2026.
