Bastei Lübbe Adjusts Full-Year Forecast Upward Amid Strong Growth

Bastei Lübbe AG has reported a significant enhancement in revenue and earnings growth, prompting another upward revision of its full-year forecast. Over the initial nine months of the 2024/2025 fiscal year, the group reported a 7.3% increase in revenue, reaching EUR 90.5 million, with Group EBIT rising by 30.6% to EUR 15.3 million. Consequently, the EBIT margin expanded from 13.9% to 16.9%.

The company, robust in its publishing endeavors, attributes this growth to its community-driven business models, successful audio offerings, and fruitful Christmas sales. The revised forecast for the fiscal year now anticipates revenues between EUR 116 million and EUR 119 million, and Group EBIT in the range of EUR 17 million to EUR 18 million.

CEO Soheil Dastyari highlighted the promising lineup for the 2025/26 fiscal year, despite uncertainties in the market. The community-driven models saw substantial growth, contributing 43% of revenue compared to 35% the previous year.
