Bausch Health Announces 2024 Gastrointestinal Health Scholars Program Winners

Bausch Health Companies Inc. (NYSE:BHC)(TSX:BHC) and Salix Pharmaceuticals have announced the recipients of the 2024 Salix Gastrointestinal Health Scholars Program. For the fifth consecutive year, the program will award 10 students living with gastrointestinal diseases $10,000 each to support their higher education.

“Bausch Health is proud of the number of applications we received in our fifth year of the program—a true testament to the unrelenting strength of the GI community,” said Aimee Lenar, Executive Vice President, US Pharma, Bausch Health. The recipients were chosen from over 275 applicants who submitted essays about their educational journeys and the role of their healthcare providers.

The program awards scholarships in various categories, including Undergraduate Scholar Awards, Graduate Scholar Awards, Single Parent's Scholar Award, and Working Parent's Scholar Award. This year’s recipients include Abigail Singer (University of Michigan), Milo Eaton (Emerson College), and Jasmine Castigliano (Antioch University Seattle), among others.
