BENETEAU Faces Challenges but Plans for Growth in Second Half of 2025
In the first half of 2025, Groupe Beneteau reported a decrease in revenues to €403.8 million, compared to €556.6 million in H1 2024. This 27% contraction was mostly due to the unstable macroeconomic environment affecting boat markets in Europe and the US. Despite negative income from ordinary operations of -€20.6 million, the company maintained a positive free cash flow of €14.3 million and a robust net cash position of €258 million.
The company presented 23 new models at the Cannes boat show, which have positively influenced order intakes. Beneteau foresaw accelerated revenue growth in the second half of 2025, estimating close to €500 million. Though challenges persist, Beneteau's CEO, Bruno Thivoyon, confirmed the company's focus on returning to growth and profitability despite market uncertainties.
