Beneteau's H1 2025 Financial Performance: Navigating Challenges
Beneteau reported its first-half 2025 results, showing a challenging period amid global market slowdowns and unfavorable economic conditions. Revenues dropped by 27.5% to €403.8 million, primarily due to declines in both European and US markets, alongside tariff impacts and adverse exchange rate fluctuations. The destocking within networks, initially thought to stabilize inventory levels, contributed to this revenue contraction.
Despite these challenges, Beneteau continued its strategic adaptation by reducing fixed costs and controlling investments. However, these efforts weren't enough to shield from the €24.8 million net income loss for the Group. The company's financial stability was somewhat maintained with positive free cash flow and a strong net cash position exceeding €250 million.
Looking forward, Beneteau expects a strong second half, driven by new model launches and recovering order intakes. The company remains optimistic that these factors will enable a return to growth and profitability.
