Berentzen-Gruppe Begins 2025 with Profitable Q1

Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft has reported a profitable start to 2025 despite a slight dip in Q1 revenues. The group earned EUR 39.0 million in consolidated revenue compared to EUR 40.9 million in Q1 of the previous year. Operating profit (EBIT) was EUR 1.2 million versus EUR 1.3 million previously. The EBITDA for the quarter was EUR 3.3 million, down from EUR 3.4 million in 2024.

CEO Oliver Schwegmann attributes the revenue decline to the sale of the Grüneberg site and emphasizes a leaner, profitable group focus. Strategic brands Berentzen and Mio Mio showed strong performance, with significant sales increases, reinforcing a positive outlook.

For 2025, the group anticipates consolidated revenues between EUR 180.0 million and 190.0 million. It plans various initiatives, including new product launches and marketing strategies, to navigate market challenges and achieve profitability targets.
