Berentzen-Gruppe Releases Preliminary Half-Year Financial Figures for 2024

Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft has released its preliminary financial figures for the first half of 2024. The company reported a normalized consolidated operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 5.1 million, up from EUR 3.3 million for the same period in 2023. The EBITDA also rose to EUR 9.4 million from EUR 7.3 million in the previous year. Consolidated revenues slightly decreased to EUR 88.1 million from EUR 89.0 million.

The increase in EBIT and EBITDA is attributed to higher selling prices and positive material price effects. Berentzen announced advanced negotiations for selling a site in Grüneberg, Brandenburg, for a symbolic price of one euro. This sale includes a contract filling agreement for Mio Mio brand products. The transaction is expected to positively impact future earnings despite reducing short-term revenues by EUR 8.0 to 10.0 million.

Based on these figures, Berentzen has updated its 2024 forecast. The company now expects consolidated revenues of EUR 185.0 to 195.0 million, EBIT of EUR 9.0 to 11.0 million, and EBITDA of EUR 18.0 to 20.0 million. Final results will be published on August 14, 2024.
