BHG Financial Embraces Mental Health Initiatives During Awareness Month
BHG Financial reiterates its commitment to mental health as Mental Health Awareness Month concludes. Acknowledging that one in five U.S. adults and one in six youth face mental health issues annually, the firm emphasizes the importance of support and awareness.
Expanding beyond employee support, BHG partnered with organizations in the mental health sector. Notably, they hosted a mental health panel with the Kevin Love Fund, featuring NBA All-Star Kevin Love and BHG's CEO Albert Crawford. The event addressed high-pressure performance in sports and business.
BHG also forged a partnership with the Overtown Youth Center (OYC) in Miami, marking OYC's 20th anniversary. BHG's donation will facilitate community programs and they will host a workout class to promote physical and mental health.
Additionally, BHG launched initiatives such as a Leadership Mental Health First Aid Course, an Employee Assistance Program webinar, and Support Circle Sessions for employees. These initiatives aim to create a culture of care, compassion, and resilience within the company.
Al Crawford, BHG's Co-Founder, emphasized the importance of managing stress and providing mental health resources to ensure a prepared and valued workforce.
