Bike24 Holding AG Reports Continued Growth in Q3 2024
Bike24 Holding AG, a leading bicycle e-commerce platform in Europe, announced growth in revenue and earnings in the third quarter of 2024. The company reported an adjusted operating profit of EUR 2.5 million, with a marginal increase in consolidated revenue to EUR 62.9 million. This growth was primarily driven by strong sales across key European markets.
Sales in the DACH region increased by 3%, while localized markets saw a rise of 6%, particularly in the Benelux countries. Full-bike sales hit an all-time high with a 6% increase to EUR 13.4 million. Despite ongoing macroeconomic challenges, the company sustained a gross margin increase to 27.5%, partially due to a revised pricing strategy.
Inventory levels decreased, and cash reserves rose to EUR 18.3 million, facilitated by careful cost management. The company maintains its forecast for modest growth for the year, focusing on profitability amidst economic challenges.
