Bankinter Joins Bit2Me's Capital Structure After €30 Million Funding

On January 15, 2026, Bankinter, a significant player in European banking, announced its investment in Bit2Me, a leading digital asset company in Spanish-speaking markets. This move comes as part of a €30 million funding round originally revealed in August. The agreement aims to strengthen technological and knowledge-based synergies between the entities.

With this investment, Bankinter aligns with Bit2Me's mission to develop Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions. The partnership will boost Bit2Me's expansion in the EU and reinforce its presence in Latin America, particularly Argentina.

Bit2Me, supported by strong partners like Telefónica and BBVA, recently obtained a European regulatory license, enhancing its strategic positioning. CFO Pablo Casadío sees the alliance as an opportunity to integrate strengths rather than compete, offering secure crypto ecosystem access.
