Bitrode Corporation Welcomes Pierre-Jean Arvers as New CEO

Schuler North America has officially appointed Pierre-Jean Arvers as the CEO of Bitrode Corporation, a leading American firm in energy storage and battery testing solutions. This strategic move is aimed at leveraging Arvers' two decades of experience across chemistry, chemical engineering, and high-level positions in the battery industry to drive forward Bitrode’s operational and market performance.

The Schuler Group, under the ANDRITZ Group umbrella, expanded its capabilities in the e-mobility sector with the acquisition of Sovema Group and Bitrode in 2022. Arvers’ customer-focused management style is expected to reinforce Bitrode's role in the electric vehicle, energy storage, and battery testing sectors, in line with Schuler’s goal to integrate Bitrode within its existing framework and expand its market reach.

Kevin McAllister, President of Schuler North America, emphasized the company's intention to cement its position in efficient battery testing and manufacturing solutions. In alignment with the industry's demands, Bitrode aims to capitalize on growth opportunities, particularly with the introduction of its new Bitrode Digital Cycler™, which represents a significant advancement in battery testing technology.

Looking ahead, Schuler, Sovema, and Bitrode are set to showcase their Battery Division and manufacturing capabilities at the upcoming Battery Show North America in Detroit, Michigan, highlighting their continued commitment to innovation in the battery testing and formation market.
