BlackRock crosses a threshold in Worldline capital

BlackRock Inc., the New York-based asset manager, recently crossed a symbolic threshold in Worldline’s capital. By a declaration received on February 12, 2025, it was announced that BlackRock now holds 5.12% of the company’s capital, equivalent to 14,511,857 shares. This stake also represents 4.43% of Worldline’s voting rights.
This threshold crossing was caused by an increase in the number of shares held as collateral. BlackRock acts on behalf of various clients and funds, and retains discretion to exercise the voting rights attached.
The capital increase marks a significant milestone for BlackRock, highlighting its growing involvement in the digital payments sector. The shares held include American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and also come from securities lending and borrowing agreements.
