BlackRock crosses the 5% threshold of Veolia's capital
On September 13, 2024, BlackRock crossed upwards the thresholds of 5% of the capital and voting rights of Veolia Environnement. This information was communicated by letter received on September 16, 2024 by Veolia.
BlackRock, acting on behalf of clients and funds under its management, now holds 37,288,383 Veolia shares, representing 5.14% of the total shares and voting rights. This threshold crossing is the result of on- and off-market acquisitions as well as an increase in the number of shares held as collateral.
The calculation basis includes in particular 1,400,140 ADRs, 701,178 shares from “contracts for differences” with no expected maturity and 1,113,132 shares held as collateral. The remainder, i.e. 4,013,342 shares, are held on behalf of clients who have retained control of the voting rights.
