BlackRock exceeds 5% voting rights threshold at Société Générale
BlackRock, Inc. announced that it has crossed upwards the threshold of 5% of Societe Generale's voting rights. This crossing, as of November 29, 2024, brings BlackRock's stake to 6.14% of the capital and 5.55% of the voting rights. This increase is the result of an increase in shares held as collateral.
BlackRock acts on behalf of various clients and management funds. The statement was received by Société Générale on 2 December 2024. The shares held include ADRs, CFDs and shares as collateral.
BlackRock has discretionary voting power unless otherwise instructed by their clients. However, an additional 5,182,496 shares are managed for clients who have retained their voting rights.
