BlackRock reduces its stake in ARKEMA
On November 12, 2024, BlackRock crossed the threshold of 5% of ARKEMA's capital downwards. The company now holds 3,777,418 shares, or 4.97% of the capital and 4.00% of the voting rights. This transaction follows a reduction in the shares held as collateral.
BlackRock, however, retains discretion to exercise voting rights for these shares unless clients instruct otherwise. The decrease does not include 329,513 shares where clients retain voting control.
The shares in question include ARKEMA ADRs, CFDs with no maturity and a securities lending agreement. Based in New York, BlackRock is a major global asset manager.
