BlueGrace Energy Bolivia and ACE Partner to Certify Congolese Forests and Establish Carbon Credit Bank
In a significant move towards sustainable management, BlueGrace Energy Bolivia (BGEB) and the Congolese Environment Agency (ACE) have announced a partnership with Mbombo Investment Group and Maximance 2030. This collaboration, spearheaded by ACE's General Manager Lama Onyangunga and BGEB CEO Julio José Montenegro, aims to certify 80M hectares of Congolese forests, ensuring their adherence to international standards for sustainable management.
The initiative also includes the establishment of a Carbon Credit Investment Bank to trade and invest in credits generated through sustainable forest management. This will create new revenue streams for local communities and investors while promoting environmental stewardship. The partnership extends beyond environmental efforts, investing in healthcare, health insurance, and education for local communities, aiming to enhance living standards.
The collaboration underscores the importance of sustainable practices and the potential for economic and social benefits. Dr. Louison Mbombo of Mbombo Investment Group emphasizes that the partnership aligns with their commitment to sustainable development and innovation.
