Board-Certified Lasik Surgeon Now Treating Patients at LasikPlus Houston

LCA-Vision has announced that Dr. Gary Legault, a board-certified LASIK eye surgeon and Ophthalmology Residency Program Director, is now treating patients at LasikPlus River Oaks Vision Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Legault is well-known for his skills in laser refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK, and has been performing LASIK since 2011.

Dr. Legault has extensive experience, having participated in FDA refractive surgery studies and published numerous articles and book chapters on the subject. He earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences and completed his Cornea/Refractive Surgery Fellowship at Duke University. He is currently an Associate Professor in Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Legault also serves as the Virtual Medical Center Director for the U.S. Department of Defense. His research focuses on improving eye care for athletes in sports like basketball and mixed martial arts. He is an active board member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Trauma.
