Boron One Holdings Expands Exploration with New License in Jarandol Basin
Boron One Holdings Inc., a company focused on decarbonization through responsible boron utilization, announced the acquisition of a new exploration license covering 21 square kilometers within Serbia's Jarandol Basin. This license encompasses the entire basin area around the company's existing Piskanja Boron Project and near the state-owned Pobrdje Boron Mine.
Previous exploration by Boron One in the Jarandol Basin has indicated the potential for finding extensions of the known boron deposits. The company's earlier drillings revealed promising borate occurrences, with significant boron layers discovered that could be economically viable. Tim Daniels, President of Boron One, expressed optimism about the discovery enhancing the company's resource base.
This three-year license, which can be extended up to eight years, consolidates Boron One’s presence in the region known for its rich borate deposits. Situated 250 km south of Belgrade, the Jarandol Basin also boasts excellent infrastructure, which supports mining operations.
