Boxwood Partners Advises DeAngelo Contracting Services on Sale of Pavement Marking Division to RoadSafe Traffic Systems

Boxwood Partners, a boutique middle-market M&A advisory firm, has facilitated the sale of DeAngelo Contracting Services' (DCS) Pavement Marking Division to RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. This transaction marks a major milestone for DCS, helping the company focus on its primary areas while ensuring growth for the pavement marking division under RoadSafe's leadership. The terms of the deal remain undisclosed.

The deal, managed by Boxwood Partners' Robbie Nickle, Colby Carter, and Brian Alas, aligns with RoadSafe's strategy to enhance its roadway safety services. The acquisition of DCS Pavement Marking, located in Hazleton, PA, will bolster RoadSafe’s position in the industry and advance its service offerings in the Northeast.

Kevin O'Meara, CEO of RoadSafe, expressed enthusiasm about integrating DCS Pavement Marking, highlighting the shared value of roadway safety. This move is part of RoadSafe's broader strategy to expand both service offerings and geographic reach.

The transaction saw accounting guidance from Jeff Bergamo of HBK CPAs & Consultants, with legal counsel provided by McNees Wallace and Nurick LLC's Meera Modi and Benjamin Ward.
