Branicks Group AG: Annual General Meeting Approves All Agenda Items with Large Majorities
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Branicks Group AG, one of Germany's leading listed real estate companies, took place virtually on August 22, 2024. All resolutions proposed by the Supervisory Board and Management Board were approved by large majorities.
CEO Sonja Wärntges addressed the AGM, reflecting on a challenging 2023 financial year, noting that despite obstacles, Branicks met most forecasts. She also highlighted successful refinancing and debt reduction efforts in 2024, positioning Branicks favorably with a valuable real estate portfolio and refined strategy.
A key decision at the AGM was the election of Jürgen Josef Overath to the Supervisory Board, succeeding Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reuter. Additionally, BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft was appointed as auditors for the 2024 financial year.
More than 55% of Branicks' voting share capital was represented at the AGM. The meeting also discussed the remuneration report for the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
