Cairn Homes Plc Engages in Buyback of Own Shares
Cairn Homes Plc, the Irish homebuilding company, announced its recent share repurchase on 29 April 2024. The transaction involved buying back 99,476 of its ordinary shares, priced at EUR 0.001 each, from Euronext Dublin and the London Stock Exchange. This move is part of the buyback program that started on 3 March 2023. Goodbody Stockbrokers UC facilitated the transactions for Cairn Homes.
The total shares purchased from Euronext Dublin numbered 64,476, with prices ranging from €1.5620 to €1.5840 per share. Meanwhile, 35,000 shares were bought from the London Stock Exchange at prices between £1.3360 and £1.3540. After these acquisitions, the shares will undergo cancellation, thereby reducing the number of outstanding shares.
The company confirmed that post-settlement and cancellation, the total number of ordinary shares in issue will be 647,552,329. Notably, Cairn Homes holds no ordinary shares in treasury. These steps are aligned with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (Market Abuse Regulation), ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance in its transactions.
