Camino Minerals Secures C$5.6 Million Investment from Strategic Partners
Camino Minerals Corporation announced a non-brokered private placement to raise approximately C$5.6 million. This financing involves issuing 15,554,666 common shares at C$0.36 each. Key participants include EMX Royalty Corp. and Continental General Insurance Company (CGIC), new significant shareholders. CGIC is a leading investor in mining assets, while EMX has acquired a 1.25% royalty over Camino's Puquios copper and gold claims in Chile.
The proceeds from this financing will support Camino's corporate activities, including legal and engineering expenses, as well as project financing costs. Camino aims to make a production decision for the Puquios copper mine in spring 2026.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close around November 14, 2025. Additionally, Camino plans to issue 5,833,334 shares to Santiago Metals Investment pending financing completion.
