Camino Minerals Summarizes Summer Drilling at Maria Cecilia Project

Camino Minerals Corporation has provided an update on its summer exploration at the Maria Cecilia porphyry project in Ancash, Peru. The campaign focused on access road construction and drilling at Porphyry 1, with geochemical assays showing low copper, molybdenum, silver, and gold grades over 234 meters.

The drilling identified mineral zonation, multiple intrusions, and potential copper mineralization in surrounding rocks, suggesting further exploration is warranted. Already, over 30,000 meters of drilling have been completed at nearby mountains, Toropunto, and Emmanuel, with Maria Cecilia situated at the center.

Drilling results include copper, gold, silver, and molybdenum intercepts with specific grades. Geological consultant Jose Bassan emphasized the presence of diverse mineralization styles, indicating the main copper source remains undiscovered.
