Campbell Scholars Program Celebrates 10 Years of Empowering Future Leaders

The Campbell Scholars Program (CSP), designed to support low-income, high-achieving first-generation students from Title I schools, celebrates its 10th anniversary. Initiated in 2014 as the Summer Enrichment Pilot Program, CSP extends resources and opportunities from Campbell Hall to students from 6th grade through college graduation.

Founded in the San Fernando Valley, CSP started with a group of ambitious 6th graders. Over the past decade, nearly all participants graduated from selective colleges, inspiring future scholars. To date, CSP has served over 200 scholars and families, focusing on growth mindset, wellness, and belonging.

John Rue, the founding Executive Director, highlights the community's support: "Over 300 Campbell Hall faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and private foundations have supported our scholars." Key achievements include 204 scholars impacted, 100% first-generation college aspirants, and 95% receiving full-tuition scholarships.

As CSP looks to the future, the program anticipates another decade of hope, empowerment, and impact.
