Canada Jetlines Announces CEO Retirement and Interim Leadership

Canada Jetlines Operations Ltd. (Cboe CA:CJET), a leisure carrier offering charter and ACMI services, announced that Eddy Doyle, the current CEO, will retire on June 30, 2024. Doyle has served in the role since 2021. The Board of Directors has initiated a search for a new CEO. During the transition period, Brigitte Goersch, the current Chair of the Board, will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer.

"Eddy has guided the company through licensing, start-up, and growth phases. It has been a pleasure to work with him," said Ms. Goersch. She emphasized her commitment to ensuring a smooth leadership transition and continuous revenue growth.

Doyle expressed gratitude for the opportunity to build Canada Jetlines and stated that the timing was right for his retirement. The company has secured ACMI contracts that will keep its fleet active in the coming months.

Ms. Goersch brings extensive experience to the interim role, including her positions as President of Lionheart Enterprises and a former Deputy Executive Director at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. She has also served in the U.S. Air Force and as an Aviation Safety Inspector.
