CANEX Secures Exploration Permit for Louise Project
CANEX Metals Inc. has announced the receipt of an exploration permit for its Louise Copper-Gold Porphyry project in British Columbia. This permit enables a 56-line kilometre geophysical survey, which is fully funded and set to commence in Spring 2025, depending on snow conditions.
The survey aims to assess unexplored areas beneath the known resource. CANEX has selected a contractor and plans to conduct a deep-looking induced polarization survey over a 1000-meter depth, extending up to seven kilometres along the strike. This initiative seeks to explore the area's potential for significant copper-gold discoveries.
CANEX's engagement with local First Nation groups has been positive, with agreements in place to involve them in early exploration activities. Despite historic shallow explorations, the Louise project now offers a promising avenue for new discoveries, supported by previous drilling highlights that underline strong porphyry mineralization.
