Carlsberg Encourages Football Participation with Innovative Campaign

Carlsberg has launched an initiative to counteract the decline in football participation among adults. Recent research indicates that while 73% of adults plan to watch football this summer, 31% haven't played in over six months. The primary reasons include lack of time, team, and space.

In response, Carlsberg introduced "Goal Posters" in cities across the country, transforming urban spaces into makeshift football fields. These installations aim to reignite the public's passion for playing football. The initiative aligns with Carlsberg's objective of increasing access to enjoyable experiences and linking with their UEFA sponsorship strategy.

Carlsberg Global Brand Director Lynsey Woods highlighted the campaign's focus on bringing back the joy of the game. The "Goal Posters" can be found in select locations like London and Manchester, inviting spontaneous play.
