CARMAT launches a donation campaign in the face of a financial crisis
CARMAT, a company specializing in artificial hearts, has announced a donation campaign to maintain its operations. The company faces a risk of insolvency at the end of June 2025, requiring an urgent €3.5 million. The total need is estimated at €35 million over 12 months. This initiative is open to individuals and businesses via onparticipe.fr.
Donations do not entitle you to a refund or tax benefits. The success of this fundraising campaign is uncertain, and does not guarantee CARMAT's future. The company struggled to secure the necessary funding despite its ongoing efforts.
Stéphane Piat, CEO, reiterates the importance of the Aeson® artificial heart in the treatment of advanced heart failure, and calls for public support to continue saving lives.
